Matched, late war pair of custom made shoulder boards for an Oberstleutnant in the elite Infantry Regiment \'Grossdeutcshland\'. The late type gilt \'GD\' cypher & the rank pip have been applied during construction, as they do not protude through the white underlay.
A very rare & desirable pair of shoulder boards in excellent, unissued condition, with some age toning & patina. Complete with a set of DRGM marked button posts.
